Kainin Sketches - New Style

Sorry for the bad quality. The paper I drew these on was a little too large for my scanner

Anyway, I wanted to try drawing kainins malimarthemage.deviantart.com/… in a more original style, one that is less rigid and more individualized for each character. However, I wanted to draw some kainins other than my own for a change. recently developed some kaigles of her own to feature in a collab we’re working on together and I really liked them. I’ve also wanted to draw ’s kaigles for a while but she hadn’t made many until a couple weeks ago. So I added them to the mix too

Piippa’s kaigles (she hasn’t posted any reference sheets here yet)

_   Chase, Piippa’s kaigle of physical discipline. He likes camping and hiking, obviously.

_   Reina, her kaigle of mental discipline.

_   Amos, her kaigle of moral discipline. He’s very similar to my Kyle malimarthemage.deviantart.com/…

Chase, Reina, and Amos are all siblings. Chase is the oldest and Amos is the youngest.

SwirlyPen’s kainins

_   Beth, her kaigunelly of writing. She was originally just a kaigunelly version of SwirlyPen swirlypenhp.deviantart.com/art…

_   Kenneth, who hasn’t yet been assigned an art, but he is very egotistical swirlypenhp.deviantart.com/art…

_   Nina, one of two kaigunellies she has oriented more toward art, specifically painting, and she likes to decorate her wings. She’s fairly young swirlypenhp.deviantart.com/art…

_   Haine, the second art-oriented kaigunelly swirlypenhp.deviantart.com/art… She’s body artist and tattooist, and like my Carol, she has a lot of piercings and dyes her hair malimarthemage.deviantart.com/…

_   Augustus, her kaigunelly of music. He’s a DJ, but he’s blind. Swirly says it’s relating to music’s non-visual nature.

_   Serena, her kaigunelly of song. She’s Chester’s (see below) girlfriend even though he’s a kaigle and she’s a kaigunelly, which was unexpected for me but not unwelcome She’s more timid about their relationship than Chester is swirlypenhp.deviantart.com/art…

_   Chester, her kaigle of physical discipline. He’s a “health nut” and likes running. As mentioned, he’s Serena’s boyfriend.

And finally…

_    A kaigunelly I commissioned from a couple months ago whom she simply referred to as “Cutie”. He’s not really a normal kaigunelly and doesn’t represent any art that I know of, but I thought it would be a shame to not draw him too. My favorite sketches are Reina, Haine, and Mitzy. Haine and Mitzy were particularly fun to draw. So was Nina. She’s the only child kaigunelly created so far that I know of and it was nice to have some variety. I think Cutie’s fairly young too, but I’m still not sure.

Amos, Chester, and Cutie may need some improvement, but at least everyone seems to be fairly unique. Let me know what you guys think.
