Julia Clarence Rivers

Well, thanks to schoolwork, it has been a little while since I last submitted a kaigunelly character. So, here’s another! There’s just one more left now, and I’ll try to submit it soon.

Personality and Background:
Julia is the kaigunelly of dance. She is very nimble and light on her feet, as well as very flexible. Julia also possesses great physical discipline/control.

Like Annabelle, Julia is generally always in a good mood and a fun person to be with. Where Annabelle is bouncy and excitable, though, Julia is somewhat calmer. She is carefree and contented with life, making good of all situations, even accidents and messes. She is hardly ever embarrassed. Julia is a dreamer and, except in times of crisis or emergency, she does not often stress over things unduly like Todd sometimes does. She is constantly marveling at the world around her and at beauty in nature, like watching sunsets or admiring flowers. Julia floats through life with a heart as light as her feet.

Like Martin, Julia is tall for a kaigunelly (7 inches in fact), but she is by no means as large or as strong as Martin. Befitting her respective art of dance, she is graceful and slender. Thus, she is good at acrobatics and most sports, which she usually plays with Annabelle or Carol.

In contrast to her physically-demanding art, Julia likes to look pretty and presentable, wearing dresses (whether long dresses, sundresses, or even kimonos) and other lacy, fancy outfits. Generally, her style of dress is more Victorian than anything else with large flowered hats and copious amounts of frills. She also likes to exhibit light blue fairy-like wings rather than the feathered wings preferred by most kaingunellies because she considers them prettier and more graceful.

Development:
Not much to say here. Julia is named after the song “Julia” [link] by The Beatles from their album The Beatles (aka “The White Album”), which I think is a nice song. I thought it fit Julia well because she’s so graceful and likes to wear fancy clothing.

Also, I guess Julia’s character was influenced a bit by Rarity from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, who is also very prim and fancy…and who also likes to wear large flowered hats [link] But Julia is nowhere nearly as pomp or proper as she is.
Oh, and that thing she’s holding with the streamer on it is one of those rods with long streamers on the end that dancers sometimes spin around…but this one’s a lot shorter for the sake of composition. I’m not sure what they’re called, and at this point I was having a hard time thinking of objects that could represent my kaigunellies’ respective arts :/

EDIT: I forgot to say that Julia's last name "Rivers" is supposed to allude to the fact that she is very graceful and smooth when she dances, like rushing water.
